Employees Retirement System
Board
of Administration
The Retirement Board has five (5) members, two (2)
management employees who are appointed by the Mayor
and confirmed by the City Council, one (1) employee
who is elected by the members representing the manual
workers of the System, and one (1) employee who is
elected by the members representing the clerical or
supervisory workers of the System, both of which serve
a four-year term. The fifth and final member of the
Board is a qualified elector of the City, not connected
with its government, elected by the previously designated
four members.
